Duke Libraries
E-Book Collection
Duke University Libraries and the Ford Library share access to over 24,000 netLibrary e-book titles. Follow the steps below to start using our e-book collection:
First Time Users: Off-Campus
- netLibrary's online reader works best with MS Internet Explorer.
- Enable / activate your Fuqua or Duke VPN
connection.
- Then browse to http://www.netlibrary.com
- With your VPN connection active, you should see a message at the left of the NetLibrary page that says; "Welcome to the Duke University eContent Collection". Now look in the top right hand corner of the NetLibrary home page, and you should see the "Create a free account" link:
The link should be right above the image of the Duke University Libraries arched window.
- Complete the required fields on the Create a Free Account page and click the red Submit button.
- Begin searching and using netLibrary! Use Advanced Search
for best results.
Tip: You don't need to use the VPN client to login from
off-campus once you've created your own account. Just browse to the netLibrary
site directly, and login with your netLibrary account.
