About Ford Library InterLibrary Loan (ILL)

Interlibrary Loan means requesting an item from a library outside of Duke, when the book or journal you need isn't owned by a Duke Library.

  • Step 1 - Search the Duke Catalog first to find out if the book, or the journal containing your article is owned by Duke.
  • Step 2 - If the book or journal is not owned by Duke, click HERE to request the book or article.
  • Step 3 - If the book is owned by a Duke Library, use this Book Request link.

Book Request: use this service in the Duke Libraries Catalog when you want to have a book from another Duke Library delivered to you here at Ford Library.
