Interlibrary Loan means requesting an item from a library outside of Duke, when the book or journal you need isn't owned by a Duke Library.

  1. Search the library catalog first to find out if the book, or the journal containing your article is owned by Duke.
  2. If the book or journal is not owned by Duke, click HERE to create your account in Ford Library Interlibrary Loan, and request the book or article.
  3. If the book is owned by a Duke Library, use the "Request A Book" link from the menu at the left.
