Who Can Use WRDS?
» Can I use WRDS during summer break?
- PhD, faculty, and staff accounts are available year-round. Masters accounts are not available to masters students and undergraduates during the summer unless the student is in a Duke summer school course or working as an RA for Duke faculty. Click to continue if you are a masters student or undergrad enrolled in a summer course or working as an RA.
» Who is eligible for a WRDS account?
- Current Duke students and faculty, and Duke Staff with some limitations. Staff may be eligible provided that their use is in direct support of academic research and teaching at Duke.
» How can I use the data hosted on WRDS?
- Data from WRDS is to be used solely for the purpose of non-commercial, academic research in support of classroom assignments, projects, examinations, or scholarly publication while enrolled or employed at the Fuqua School of Business, or Duke University.
- Some providers of WRDS data consider investment management and the commercialization of research to be prohibited commercial use.
